These urination symptoms may be most severe during the night and can interfere with a man's ability to sleep soundly through the night. Men with this condition may also develop sensations of discomfort upon ejaculation. Urination or ejaculatory problems can be signs of other medical issues, including urinary tract infections or erectile dysfunction, and affected men should consult a doctor for further evaluation and care.

Fever or Upset Stomach

Prostate irritation induced by a bacterial infection can cause high fever or upset stomach symptoms in affected men, MayoClinic.com explains. Men with this condition can experience nausea, vomiting, chills, sweating, flushing or headache.
